Qt and KDE
My desktop environment of choice. Because I'm a very very bad programmer and
my time being very limited, I'm forced to use only the best toolkits there
are. Qt and KDE make programming real fun.
- KDE, a free desktop environment for *nix-like
operating systems
- Troll Tech, the creators of Qt, the most
beautiful C++ toolkit I know of.
- KOffice, a project creating a free office
suite for KDE. I want to make MyMap embeddable into KOffice documents, using
the KParts mechanism for compound documents.
 This is
a really great place where they host your free software projects. You get CVS access, web and ftp space, bug tracking systems and much more, all for free :-)
